"Once I was playing with my father against Casteldefels," Olmo recalled. I was eight years old. I was happy playing soccer at the time, but someone came to me and came 'Come here! I can take a picture with Messi!' he said. Wouldn't someone want to take a picture with Messi? It was me. I replied 'It's okay, I want to keep running'"He mentioned that he refused the opportunity to take a picture with Messi as a child.

However, despite Olmo's refusal, Olmo's father did not miss the opportunity. In the end, Olmo came out and sat next to Messi while playing soccer, and had to take a picture.

Olmo said of the time of the photoshoot "I didn't say anything to Messi. I just went back to the ball because I was waiting for a photo shoot. As if he was doing him a favor." Rather, he explained that he was not more interested in taking pictures.

Meanwhile, Olmo was recently mentioned as a candidate for Manchester City, Tottenham, and Barcelona along with his performance. In particular, Barcelona is reportedly seeking Olmo's return through a 60 million-euro buyout.
