Since then, the NC club has undergone additional re-examination at another hospital to determine the exact condition. On the 27th, a CT scan was performed at the radiology department in Seoul, and he was found to have broken his wrist again. And on the 29th, the day of rest, I received an additional examination at another hospital. Final diagnosis was right ulnar fracture and wrist ligament damage.
An NC team official said, `Fortunately, surgery was avoided.' but added, `It is expected to take about six weeks to stabilize and recover. The area should be fixed in stages for 6 weeks. And after six weeks, I think I will be able to get a checkup again and check the condition of the injured area, and then schedule an accurate rehabilitation schedule."
Just the fact that Park Kun-woo can recover through fixed and rehabilitation, not surgery, is a primary relief. In fact, however, it seems difficult to return to the regular season. Even if you recover quickly, you will not be able to schedule rehabilitation until early September, and you will have to go through a training program step by step after that. In addition, considering that it is necessary until the actual sensory recovery period, it is almost impossible to return within this season.
It is a big loss for NC. Following Son Ah-seop's departure from power due to a posterior cruciate ligament, Park Gun-woo is virtually out of the season. There is not enough time to discuss strengthening power such as trade right now, and it is not easy to match cards. There was a meaningful opportunity for young outfielders.
