The team that comes to mind when you think of 'running baseball' is the LG Twins. When manager Yeom Kyung-yeop took office last year, he insisted on aggressive baseball, and the most noticeable thing was stolen bases.

They wanted a bold base run and the players tried to steal wildly. As a result, he made 166 stolen bases, the most, but recorded 101 failures, with a success rate of only 62.2%. The first team in stolen bases was the last in success rate.

LG is playing a lot again this year. By the 29th, he had 138 stolen bases, ranking first overall. Sixty failures have increased the success rate to 69.7%.

Park Hae-min, the only active 400 steals holder, has 33, and Shin Min-jae has 28. There are six players who have recorded double-digit stolen bases, including 13 for Moon Sung-joo, 12 for Oh Ji-hwa, 11 for Austin and 10 for Choi Seung-min.

But there is second place right behind LG. It's Doosan Bears. There are only three differences with 135. There have been only 37 failed stolen bases, ranking second overall with a success rate of 78.5%.

Doosan players are both ranked first and second in stolen bases. Cho Soo-haeng is running first with 49 points, and Jung Soo-bin, last year's steal king, is tied for second with 38.

Kang Seung-ho is trailing with 13 and Lee Yoo-chan with 10.

Doosan is about to turn over. Doosan's stolen bases increased in the second half of the year. In 16 games in the second half, Doosan stole 25 bases. Second place was SSG Landers, who made 16 in 14 games, and KIA Tigers recorded 14 in 17 games.

LG came in fourth. He recorded 13 in 12 games. There are only three failed steals. The success rate has risen to 81.3 percent. It can be said that he is trying to steal only when it is probabilistically high.

At this pace, Doosan is likely to be the No. 1 steal team this season, but it is difficult to predict which team will be the No. 1 as LG can also try to steal again often depending on the situation. Is it Doosan led by Cho Ha-soo and Jung Soo-bin or LG who plays for anyone.

Naturally, I started to wonder about the results as a new competitor appeared in a situation where I thought the first place would be decided.
