The runner-up team of the Italian league is coming.

KOVO (Korea Volleyball Federation) signed the 2024 Korea-Italy Men's Volleyball Global Super Match Business Agreement (M.O.U.) with the Vero Volley Monza club in Italy and KBSN as part of its project aimed at 'GLOBAL KOVO'.

Officials, including KOVO Secretary-General Shin Moo-chul, Vero Bali Monza Alessandra Marzari, and KBSN Sports Headquarters Director Park Hyun-chul held an agreement ceremony at the Opiquad Arena, the home stadium of Vero Bali Monza, on the 10th (Korea time) and promised joint cooperation to host a global super match.

Vero Bali Monza is a team that Lee Woo-jin, a former member of the Korean youth team, belongs to as an intern, and finished second in the Italian first division of the Superlega in the 2023-2024 season, and registered Lee Woo-jin as an official player ahead of next season. Through this agreement, Vero Bali Monza will participate in two friendly matches in South Korea, and will play one match each with Korean Air Jumbos, the winner of last season's V-League, and Team Kobo, which will be composed of V-League representatives. The 2024 Korean and Italian men's volleyball global super match will be held in Korea for two days on September 7th and 8th. It will also participate in various events such as youth academies, cultural performances, and welcoming dinners.

Marchari, owner of the club, said "We will continue to work to ensure that this relationship does not end in September's game and that cultural exchange and communication continueI would like to thank everyone for their positive consideration of this exchange by making a promise that "Secretary-General Shin Moo-chul expressed his expectation that `this friendly match will be of considerable help to the development of Korean volleyball.'
