Samsung won 7-1 in an away game against LG at Jamsil Stadium on the 30th, turning the game around with Kang Min-ho's come-from-behind two-run shot and Kim Young-woong's back-to-back solo shot.
Samsung, the third-ranked team that has lost four consecutive away games, recorded 52 wins, 2 draws, and 47 losses, narrowing the gap with LG, the second-ranked team with 53 wins, 2 draws, and 43 losses, to two games.
The first contributor was starting Conor Seabold. Connor, who was unstable in the beginning but quickly settled down, silenced LG's batters with six hits, four strikeouts, and one run in eight innings. In particular, he helped ease the unstable bullpen recently by blocking it until the eighth inning.
In the meantime, Samsung disabled the LG mound with three home runs, Kang Min-ho's come-from-behind two-run shot, Kim Young-woong's back-to-back solo shot, and Lee Sung-kyu's wedge solo shot in the top of the eighth inning.
LG's Austin Dean, who took a break from the weekend's three consecutive games due to a knee contusion, was back in the lineup. The lineup was composed of Hong Chang-ki (right wing), Oh Ji-hwan (striker), Austin (designated hitter), Moon Bo-kyung (first baseman), Kim Hyun-soo (left wing), Park Dong-won (catcher), Park Hae-min (center fielder), Shin Min-jae (second baseman), and Koo Bon-hyuk (third baseman).
Samsung formed the starting lineup with Kim Ji-chan (center fielder), Kim Heon-gon (left wing), Lee Jae-hyun (fielders), Kang Min-ho (catcher), Kim Young-woong (third baseman), Kim Dong-yeop (designated hitter), Lee Sung-kyu (first baseman), Ryu Ji-hyuk (second baseman), and Kim Hyun-joon (right wing). LG's starter was Detrick Ens, a left-handed pitcher, so five right-handed hitters and four left-handed hitters were placed
LG took the initial momentum. With two outs and a runner on first base in the bottom of the first inning, Moon Bo-kyung scored the first run with a double that hit the fence.

Samsung also turned the tables with a home run in Jamsil. In addition to Kim Ji-chan's infield hit until the third inning, Samsung's batting lineup, which had withdrawn as a bum, suddenly burst in the top of the fourth inning. After two outs, No. 3 Lee Jae-hyun got on base with a heavy hit, No. 4 Kang Min-ho hit a thunderous two-run shot from behind to the left. He hit a changeup of 129 kilometers, which was the highest in the middle of the second pitch in 1B, to make a big home run. Soon after, Kim Young-woong hit a back-to-back home run. Again, the cutter of the 137km first pitch of Ence, which was formed high in the middle, crossed over to the right fence. It turned the game around 3-1. With the homer, Kim achieved his 20th homer of the season.
He scored an extra point right away in the bottom of the fifth inning. In the chance of two outs and runners on the first and second bases with a walk and a hit to the body, No. 2 Kim Heon-gon's clean left-handed hit scored one point and ran away by 4-1, three points. After that, it was regrettable that Kang Min-ho stepped down with a fly to right field with two outs and the bases loaded.
Samsung attacked LG's second pitcher Lim Chun-hyung in the top of the seventh inning and ran away again. After leading Ryu Ji-hyuk walked and got on base, Kim Hyun-joon's sacrifice bunt went to second base, and Kim Ji-chan's right double scored. Samsung, which made Kim Hun-gon's groundout in front of the second base, added one run with Lee Jae-hyun's hit in front of center field, widening the gap to 6-1, 5 points.

Corner, who threw 88 pitches through the seventh inning, took the mound in the eighth inning as well. Shin Min-jae grounded out in front of the third base and pinch hitter Kim Bum-seok with a fly to right field. Hong Chang-ki hit a double to left-center, but he caught Oh Ji-hwan with a fly to right field and was responsible until the eighth inning.
Samsung's batters also burst as if responding to Connor's good pitching.
Kang Min-ho and Kim Young-woong and Lee Sung-kyu scored four runs with home runs, and additional runs came out as hits came out in a timely manner. Kang Min-ho's one hit was a come-from-behind two-run shot, and Kim Young-woong also played a role in bringing the atmosphere with a solo shot.
Kim Ji-chan made three hits, Kim Heon-gon made two hits, and Lee Jae-hyun made two hits, adding an RBI each. Samsung also had 10 hits but collected seven runs by hitting when needed.
LG was lethargic. LG starter N.S., who pitched well with only one run in three games in the second half of the year, became a losing pitcher by allowing five hits (two homers), two walks, three strikeouts and four runs in six innings. As the bullpen continued to lose points, the gap widened, making it increasingly difficult to dream of a turnaround.
The batters were not supportive either. Only Hong Chang-ki hit two hits and only six hits.
