Jeju utilized a 4-3-3 tactic. Park Si-on and Kim Han-bin led the attack with Yoo Young-joon at the center. The midfield was coordinated by Kim Yu-jong, Park Jung-joon, and Kim Min-joong. Park Hyun-woo, Hong Myung-jin, Shin Soo-ah, and Kim San were located in Four Back. Heo Jae-won defended the goal.

Cerezo Osaka was a 4-4-2 formation. Shiojiri Tepei and Ryota Onodar formed a two-top. Behind them, Yoshino Keita, Hirayama Taiga, Oshima Tepei and Shibata Ryu Shin helped. The game has begun. Cerezo Osaka scored six minutes after kickoff. It was a score by Shiojiri Tepei. He is Japan's rising talent recently. In February, he participated in an international friendship competition in Antalya, Turkiye. At the time, Japan faced Spain, Denmark, and France.

In a hurry, Jeju launched a counterattack. However, he could hardly use his strength in the midfield battle with his opponent. Jeju got a free kick opportunity in the 25th minute of the first half due to an opponent's foul. But the shot missed the opponent's goal. Cerezo Osaka launched a counterattack. In the 26th minute of the first half, Oshima Tepei penetrated Jeju's goal with a surprise shot. Jeju ended the first half with a 0-2 deficit.

At the beginning of the second half, Jeju took out Park Jung-joon and put in Kim Min-joon. Jeju accelerated its attack. He used his side to break through the offensive route. But Cerezo Osaka was also tough. He gave little time.

There was a fierce struggle between the two teams' benches. I alternately used replacement cards to make changes. Jeju added Gangseojin instead of Hong Myung-gun. Cerezo Osaka also took out Yoshino Keita and Teshima Sosuke, and put in Ryosuke and Teshima Sosuke in turn. The fight between Jeju trying to chase and Cerezo Osaka trying to protect continued. Cerezo Osaka laughed from the back. Cerezo Osaka ended the victory by tying Kimura Puga's score at the end of the second half.
