The under-18 youth baseball team, including Jeon High School Jung Woo-joo and Deoksu Chung Hyun-woo, who are competing for the first pick of the rookie draft, has been confirmed.

The Korea Baseball Softball Association (KBSA) has confirmed the list of coaches, coaches and national teams to participate in the 13th Asian Youth Baseball Championship (under 18) to be held in Taipei, Taiwan, on September 2-8.

Earlier, Busan High School coach Park Gye-won took the helm, and through the performance improvement committee held on the 15th, Kang Seung-young, the head coach of Mulgeum High School, Song Min-soo, the head coach of Jangchung High School, the pitcher, and Chung Ho-jin, the coach of Masan Yongmago, joined as the fielder coach. A total of 18 players, including 8 pitchers, 2 catchers, 5 infielders and 3 outfielders, were selected as the final entry.

Pitchers Deoksu Chung Hyeon-woo, Kim Tae-hyung, Keystone duo Park Joon-soon and Bae Seung-soo, who led Shinsegae E-Mart's and the Golden Lion, were selected. Jung Woo-joo (Jeon High School) and Lee Ho-min (Jeon High School), who placed Jeon high school at the top of the blue dragon flag for the first time in 47 years, will also protect the national team's mound.

Lee Yul-ye (Gangneung High School), Bae Chan-seung (Daegu High School), and Park Gun-woo (Chungam High School 3), who have been active together since the World Youth Baseball Tournament, will also work together once again. It is expected that Park Jae-hyun (Incheon High School 3) will be the center of the lineup with mobility and defense that crosses the infield and outfield, and big gun Su-ho (Daegu Sangwon High School 3), who has seven home runs this season, will be the center of the lineup. Oh Jae-won (Yoo Shin-go 2), who is highly regarded for his fast feet and wide field defense range, was the only second-year player selected.

A total of eight countries will participate in the 13th Asian Youth Baseball Championship (under 18), with the top two teams in the preliminary round advancing to the super round, and the final top two teams in the overall performance, which combine the preliminary round opponent's record (1 game) and super round performance (2 games), will advance to the final.
