We don't know where the game where referee Kim Jong-ryul takes the whistle will go. It is a target to be avoided among K League 1 clubs. Challenging the referee's authority at all tends to get more excited.

The main players of Daegu FC and Pohang Steelers were referee Kim, not the players. In the 41st minute of the first half, he issued two warnings to Pohang's Heo Yong-joon and sent him off. It happened in just three seconds. Park Tae-ha, who is protesting, also failed to avoid the red card.

In the 47th minute of the first half extra time, Yoshino of Daegu received a direct red card for retaliatory play. VAR (Video Read) 'On-Field Review' did not overturn the decision. In the hot summer with high humidity, a 10-to-10 fight was staged.

In the chaotic situation, neither Daegu nor Pohang could laugh. The two teams tied 3-3 in the 21st round of 'Hana Bank K League 1 2024' held at DGB Daegu Bank Park on the 6th. `King of Daepak' Cesinha returned. He scored the first goal in the 28th minute of the first half. However, the lead was broken in the 50th minute of the first half. Jung Jae-hee brought the game to square one with an equalizer. It was a slugfest in the second half. After Hong Yoon-sang and Lee Ho-jae in Pohang and Edgar in Daegu, Cesinha completed multiple goals, but joy and sorrow were not mixed.

Daegu coach Park Chang-hyun pulled out a 3-4-3 card. With Cesinha Edgar Park Yong-hee building a three-top, Hong Chul, Yoshino, Park Se-jin, and Hwang Jae-won lined up in midfield. Ko Myung-seok, Park Jin-young, and Kim Jin-hyuk breathed in the three-back. Oh Seung-hoon wore goalkeeper gloves.

Pohang coach Park Tae-ha countered with a 4-4-2 system. Heo Yong-joon and Lee Ho-jae led the attack on the front line. Jung Jae-hee, Han Chan-hee, Auberdan Hong Yoon-sang were paired in the midfield. Wandelson, former Minkwang Lee Dong-hee and Shin Kwang-hoon were located in Four Back. Hwang In-jae defended the goal.

Cesinha opened with his first left footed shot in the fifth minute of the first half. Two minutes later, Edgar connected Hwang Jae-won's cross with a header shot, but was blocked by Hwang In-jae's good defense. Pohang responded with a left-footed shot in the 9th minute of the first half, but Daegu's momentum was stronger.

Park Se-jin threatened Pohang's goal in the 17th and 20th minutes of the first half. The long-awaited first goal was scored in the 28th minute of the first half. Park Jin-young's header-winning ball was connected to Cesinha. Cesinha, who had a one-on-one chance with the goalkeeper, calmly scored the goal. It was the first goal in three games since the match against Jeonbuk Hyundai in the 18th round.

In Pohang, Jung Jae-hee and Han Chan-hee scored crucial shots in the 33rd minute of the first half, but they were caught by the goalkeeper and defense. From the 41st minute of the first half, 'Red Card Storm' hit. In the end, the 10-to-10 fight began. Hong Yoon-sang, who dug into the back space in the first half of the extra time, gave up the pass after beating the opponent's goalkeeper, and Jung Jae-hee solved it.

The second half was a one-up battle. Pohang laughed first. Hong Yoon-sang scored his second goal in the 9th minute of the second half after breaking down Daegu's back space once again. Daegu equalized Park Yong-hee's cross in the 16th minute of the second half with Edgar's fantastic header.

But the joy of Daegu did not last long. Pohang lost the ball to Lee Ho-jae after Auberdan destroyed Daegu's right side in the 22nd minute of the second half, leading to a goal. Daegu didn't back down either. Cesinha again stepped up as the Hinburn solver. In the 41st minute of the second half, he brought the game back to square one with a picturesque left-footed celebration.

It wasn't the end. Kim Jin-hyuk finished the ball given by Ko Jae-hyun in the 45th minute of the second half. But in the previous situation, Edgar was hit in the arm. A blatant declaration was made after VAR 'On-Field Review'. Daegu hit the ground.

Pohang's 'DGB Daegu Bank Park jinx' continued. Pohang has not won a single game since the opening of the Parak in 2019. On this day, he missed the victory in front of him.

Pohang missed out on reclaiming the top spot. He remained in third place with 38 points. Daegu, with 21 points, was ranked 10th.
