Seongnam FC announced on the 12th that it has appointed Kwon Soon-hyung as the new U-15 coach.

Kwon is a veteran player who has played 373 K-League games and has played for Gangwon FC, Jeju United, and Sangju Sangmu since 2009. He joined Seongnam in the 2020 season and retired at the age of 37 last year.

The club praised Kwon's abundant professional career, his high understanding of the club by being with Seongnam since 2020, and above all, the direction of youth development is the same as that of the club.

As a senior member of the team when he was a player, Kwon became an example for his teammates based on his sincerity and correct character, and showed interest in fostering players early by holding a leader license AFC/KFA license A level through constant leader preparation.

Kwon said, `It's an honor to be with Seongnam again. When I played in Seongnam, there were many talented young professional players. Together with the existing U-15 coaching staff, I will try to help Seongnam youth development system," he said.

Kwon, who finished his professional career in Seongnam and started anew as Seongnam youth leader again, will prepare for the K League U-15 Youth Championship in August with U-15 head coach Kim Min and other leaders.
