Korea Esports Association Signs Official Partnership With Woori Financial Group

The Korea e-Sports Association announced on the 3rd that it has signed an official partnership with Woori Financial Group this year and decided to sponsor major e-sports competitions.
Woori Financial Group decided to actively revitalize the e-sports ecosystem by sponsoring major e-sports competitions held by the association this year, after supporting national teams to perform their best at the Asian Games as a sponsor of the e-sports national title last year.
In particular, as the title sponsor of this year's e-sports university league, it supports college student career development activities such as e-Unions and Ambassador. In addition, it plans to actively carry out various e-sports marketing activities, including the presidential cup amateur e-sports competition, the Korea-China-Japan e-sports competition, and the e-sports hobbyist competition.
Chairman Kim Young-man of the Korea e-Sports Association thanked Woori Financial Group for its forward-looking decision on the development of e-sports, from sponsoring the national team and supporting the revitalization of e-sports competitions in Korea. The association will continue to work with Woori Financial Group to establish life sports in e-sports and to improve awareness as a leisure culture."
Meanwhile, with this partnership as an opportunity, the e-sports university league is conducting a 'Mascot Contest with Woori Financial Group'. It contains the purpose of the league in which a college student, the main character of the university league, makes his own mascot and makes it together. Any university student (holiday) can participate in the competition, and a team of no more than individuals or three people can participate until the 14th. The prize money of 5 million won will be awarded to the winning work, and the results of the screening will be announced on the 17th.
