○…On the 20th and 21st, the Korea Sports Association for the Disabled will hold the 2024 National Sports Competition for the Disabled at Asan National Sports Center in Chungnam. In this competition, 216 disabled athletes will participate in 17 cities and provinces to compete for their skills. It operates in three categories: PC game, console game, and XR (Expanded Reality). The detailed events will include League of Legends, FC Online, Kartrider Drift (PC game event), Nintendo Switch Tennis, Nintendo Switch Bowling (console event), wheelchair racing, Indian language rowing (XR-extended reality event), and cross-country skiing (experience event). The opening ceremony will be held at Asan City Sports Center for the Disabled at 5 p.m. on the 19th. ○…On the 17th, the Icheon Training Center will hold a meeting to check the performance of the two outstanding sports (badminton and shooting) in preparation for the Paris Paralympic Games. The meeting will be attended by the head of the Icheon National Training Center, the head of the training operation office, and the staff in charge, as well as athletes and leaders participating in the Paris Paralympics. The meeting will examine the current status of training and training plans until the competition. Overall discussions will be held to improve the performance at the end of the tournament, including participation in pre-camp and support for sports medicine.
