South Korea's MMA national team players will go on a gold medal hunt.

The Korean MMA Federation national team headed to Phnom Penh, Cambodia through Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 on the 9th. They will participate in the 2nd Asian MMA Championships with the goal of winning gold medals.

The Asian MMA Championship is hosted by the Asian MMA Federation (Chairman Gordon Tang, AMMA), a member of the OCA (Asian Olympic Council). This year, the Cambodian MMA Federation will host the event at the Phnom Penh National Olympic Stadium in Cambodia.

Park Seo-young (women's traditional 54kg), Lee Bo-mi (women's modern 54kg), and Kim Ha-jin (men's traditional 72kg) will participate in the Korean MMA Federation national team under the direction of head coach Kim Geum-cheon. The technical meeting on the 10th will familiarize themselves with the rules of the competition once again, and the official game schedule will be held from the 11th to the 13th.

Coach Kim Geum-cheon said, `We returned home in a good mood in the first competition last year, with our players performing better than expected. In order to perform better this year, I made a lot of effort to make up for what I lacked last year. We will do our best to repay those who support us and come back with good news."
