KT Rolster Wins '2024 eK League Championship Season 2' Grand Final for 3 consecutive years

Nexon announced on the 8th that KT Rolster won the grand final of the nation's top regular league 'FC Online'2024 eK League Championship Season 2'.
This season's grand final was held with 120 spectators at the Vita 500 Coliseum in Jamsil, Seoul, and the live broadcast on the official YouTube channel and collaborative creator channel was watched by about 34,500 people. The grand final, the final ranking match, was held in the best-of-seven series by meeting KT, the No. 1 overall player in the first and second rounds, and WH Gaming, which beat Gen.G and Guangdong Fricks in succession in the first and second rounds of the playoffs.
In the first set, which was played in a two-to-two multi-player match, KT Kim Kwan-hyung and Kim Jung-min faced WH Gaming Lee Won-joo and Lee Sang-min and lost the penalty shootout after exchanging four goals each, but won the second set with Kwak Jun-hyuk's aggressive attack to balance them. From the third set to the sixth set, KT and WH Gaming alternately won, balancing the set score 3-3. In the last seven sets, KT Kwak Joon-hyuk and WH Gaming's Lee Won-joo competed and fought hard, and Kwak Joon-hyuk scored two goals dramatically in the second half of extra time while trailing 1-2, and KT won the final set score 4-3.
KT achieved the milestone of winning 'eK League Championship's first three consecutive championships, winning a total prize of 40 million won and 20 million Nexon Cash. In addition, WH Gaming, the runner-up, was awarded a total prize of 30 million won and 10 million Nexon Cash.
Meanwhile, KT, WH Gaming, Guangdong, and Gen.G., which ranked 1st to 4th this season, will play as the Korean national team of the top global national competition 'FC Professional Champions Cup' held in Shanghai, China on August 21st, according to the earned 'FC Pro Ranking Points'. 'FC Mobile' will confirm two Korean representatives through the final round of the Korean national team selection contest for the 『FC Professional Champions Cup』, which will take place on the 13th.
