'What the hell is going on?'

The Japanese professional soccer community was in chaos when Spain's Seville's visit was suddenly canceled.

According to multiple officials, Spain's first division (Primera Liga) Sevilla decided to play an away friendly match to Japan at the end of this month, but it was decided to stop, Japanese sports media 'Sports Hochi' reported on the 20th.

Sevilla was scheduled to hold a friendly match against Sapporo in the J-League at Sapporo Dome on the 30th and a soccer friendly event with Sagan Dos on August 2.

The J-League will begin its break until August 7 after the regular season game this weekend. During this period, the two clubs decided to invite Seville, who is in the pre-season, to play events as a practice.

Tickets have also been sold out on the news that Sevilla, which is a Spanish first division and has a record of seven European league titles in Spain's history, will visit Japan.

Due to the sudden cancellation of the visit, a refund situation became inevitable. Sports Hochi' added that details, including measures to refund tickets, will be officially announced on the 22nd.

Citing Spanish media 'As', Japan's Goal Dotcom' reported that Sevilla's visit itself is likely to be eliminated because one of the two matches in Japan has become impossible to host.

The Spanish media 'El Desmarque' added that Sevilla was not responsible for the suspension of the Japanese tour.'Sevilla has already received the fee for participating in this friendly event, but after understanding the situation of the Japanese side, they decided to take another opportunity in the future.
