Jeon High School was thrilled to go to the final for the first time in the history of Cheongryonggi.

Jeon High School beat Gangneung High School 5-4 in the 79th Cheongryonggi National High School Baseball Championship and the weekend league King Wangjung match (co-hosted by the Chosun Ilbo, Sports Chosun, and the Korea Baseball Softball Association) at Mokdong Stadium on the 14th. Jeon High School, who lost to Deoksu in the E-Mart Cup in April and finished second, tasted the ㅃ of advancing to the finals thanks to Lee Ho-min's hard work, who played a total of five ⅔ until his start and two relief appearances.

The tight game was in a tumult in the bottom of the fourth inning. Um Jun-hyun, who got on base with a right-handed hit after one out, took advantage of the throwing error of Gangneung High School's infielders who came out to the batter's box of Lee Han-rim to get the first run.

Gangneung High School succeeded in turning the tables in the top of the fifth inning. He took advantage of an error made by Kim Min-sik's infield hit in the second base with two outs that led to Kwon Min-soo's heavy hit and Kim Do-yoon's double. In the ensuing chance, Lee Kun-jung's timely hit to reverse the game, succeeding in bringing a one-point lead.

But Jeon immediately regained the lead. Jeon High School, who tied the game with Park Han-yeol's timely hit with two outs and second base, regained the lead with Choi Yoon-seok's triple, and even Um Jun-hyun made a timely hit with an infield hit, leading 4-2. In the bottom of the seventh inning, Park Han-kyul made a timely hit with two outs and second base caught by Yoon Do-yeon's right-handed hit and Lee Ho-min's sacrifice bunt success, widening the gap to three points.

Gangneung High School scored a chase with a double by Park Sang-joon after Song Ji-hoon's walk in the top of the eighth inning. With two outs and a runner on the second base, Kim Min-sik also hit a timely hit to catch up to a point difference. Jeon High School put Lee Ho-min back on the mound when Lee Si-hoo, who took the mound in relief, sent the runner out with a pitch that hit him, and Lee Ho-min gave up a right-handed hit to Lee Kun-jung, but Choi Sung-eum, who was put in a big defense, caught the last out count with a home throw. When Lee Ho-min, who took the mound again in the top of the ninth inning, finished the inning with a three-out error, and Jeon High School cheered for the final.
