Doosan signed a total of $300,000 (about 400 million won) with foreign hitter Jared Young on the 23rd. He asked the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) to announce waivers for outfielder Henry Ramos.
Canadian left-handed left-handed outfielder and first baseman Jarrod Young was a 15-round pick by the Chicago Cubs in the 2017 rookie draft, with a physical condition of 1 m85 and a weight of 92 kg.
Jared Young, who made his major league debut in the 2022 Cubs uniform, hit 212 home runs, eight RBIs, and an OPS (on-base plus slugging) of 0.725 in 22 games in two seasons.
This season, he played in 74 games for the Triple-A Memphis Redbirds under the St. Louis Cardinals with a batting average of 285, 11 homers, 35 RBIs and an OPS of .917. Triple-A's overall performance is 0.268, 54 home runs, 184 RBIs, and 0.852 OPS in 310 games.
