Little Baseball Major Division Team Wins 13-3 Over Taiwan Junior Team Wins 4-1 Over Guam

In the 2024 Little Baseball World Series Asia-Pacific & Middle East qualifying round, the Korean Major Division team and the Junior Division team are currently cruising.

The Major Division team won against Taiwan 13-3 at Hwaseong Dream Park on June 30.

Taiwan is likely to meet in the final. Both teams played the game while saving the aces.

Ha-guk led 4-0 in the top of the first inning thanks to Oh Ki-soo's three-run sweep double, but was chased 4-2 when two errors came out in the bottom of the first inning.

Taiwan's momentum was dampened by three runs with a walk and three hits in concentration against the changed Taiwanese pitcher in the top of the third inning.

The South Korean national team, which had a total of 11 hits, will play its last preliminary match against Indonesia on the 1st.

The South Korean junior team faced the Guam junior team, which has emerged as a dark horse. He won 4-1 with a well-organized defense, including starter Park Chan-young and Song Ji-hwan's two hits.

The junior division team will play the semifinals against Japan at 10 p.m. on the 1st.
