Han Joo-yeop (25, High1), unfortunately failed to advance to the semifinals.

Han Joo-yeop, ranked 24th in the world, lost a round of Andari-hurigi to world No. 1 Lasha Bekauri of Georgia in the men's 90-kilogram quarterfinals of the 2024 Paris Olympics held at the Chandemars Stadium in Paris, France on the 31st (Korea time). Becauri is the gold medalist at the last Tokyo Games and the top-ranked player who won silver and bronze medals at the World Championships last year and the year before.

Han Joo-yeop, who is participating in the Olympics for the first time, did well against Becauri but lost unfortunately. I had a hard time. Han Joo-yeop, who was on the defensive due to Beccauri's aggressive attack, eventually gave up a game 1:22 into the game. After several attempts, Bekauri succeeded in catching Han Joo-yeop's back and then hung Han Joo-yeop's left foot and knocked him back.

Han Joo-yup went down to the consolation round. I'm going for the bronze medal. Han Joo-yup reached the quarterfinals by winning a match against Carmel Kone (Burkina Faso), ranked 82nd in the world, and a half-win against John Jane (USA), ranked 32nd in the round of 16. Unfortunately, he did not make it to the semifinals, but he performed better than expected.
