Lee Jae-sung (32, Mainz), who left for Germany ahead of the new season, was appointed as an ambassador for the UNESCO Korean Committee.

The UNESCO Korean Committee (Secretary-General Han Kyung-gu) announced on the 14th that it has appointed Lee Jae-sung, a national midfielder active in the Bundesliga of German professional football, as an ambassador for the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the campaign '70 GETHER'UNESCO Friends'

70GETHER is a coined word created by adding the number 70 to the English word TOGETHER, which means 'together'. Beyond its 70-year history, it contains the vision and will of the UNESCO Korean Committee to create a better future with more people. With the motto of a desirable future, education without discrimination, and a peaceful society, it aims to find the root cause of the problem 'smart donation'.

Lee Jae-sung will participate in promoting campaign bracelets and promoting UNESCO activities by December 2026. .

Lee Jae-sung, born in 1992, is the longest, most, and best player and the most recognized and loved player by teammates such as Son Heung-min. He is a model player with not only his ability to sweep the K League Young Player Award, MVP, but also his dedication as a team player and warm personality to know sharing. After making his professional debut at Jeonbuk Hyundai in 2014, he won the K League Young Player Award in 2015 and the Best Player Award in 2017, wore a Holstein Kill uniform in the German second division in 2018, moved to Mainz in the first division of the 2021-2022 season, and has since been loved by German fans as a main midfielder.
