The exchange, which will involve 25 C team players, is designed to improve the skills of promising players from both teams and will be held at Fukuoka Hawks Baseball Park Chikugo, Japan, home to Softbank's second and third teams.
The team will arrive in Fukuoka, Japan, on October 7 and return home via Gimhae International Airport on October 11 after matches on the 8, 9, and 10.
Lim Sun-nam, head of NC Dinos, said "NC and Softbank have a common point: they have two leading IT companies as their parent companies. I hope this exchange match will serve as a starting point for the two clubs to cooperate in various ways and build a developmental relationship as well as the growth of the players' skills."
Gong Pil-sung, manager of the C team, said "The club had an exchange match in Japan for the first time since its foundation. By experiencing Japanese professional baseball culture, I think it is a good opportunity for our team to grow internally and externally. I expect the players to grow a lot through their matches against Softbank, which has solid basics and good skills."
Starting with this exchange match with Softbank, NC will seek ways for the two teams to continue to develop together in the future.
