Busan's new coach and former Incheon coach Cho Sung-hwan..'I'll lead you to promotion with a new spirit of challenge.'

Busan I'Park appointed former Incheon coach Cho Sung-hwan as the 25th head coach to lead the team in place of former coach Park Jin-seop, who stepped down during the season.

Coach Cho Sung-hwan is a veteran defender who started his professional career with the Merit Elephant in 1993 and scored four goals and 19 assists in 230 K-League games. After retirement, he gained various experiences, starting with a playing coach at Jeonbuk Hyundai, and going through Jeonbuk U18 Jeonju Youngsaeng High School and a professional team head coach.

In 2013, he moved to Jeju and served as the head coach of the second division, and since 2015, he has been appointed as the head coach of Jeju. Coach Cho served as Jeju's head coach until 2019, ranking third in the league, ranking second in the league, and advancing to the Asian Champions League (ACL) for the second consecutive year.

In August 2020, he took over as Incheon's head coach, where he successfully managed to dramatically retain a team that had been winless throughout the season, leading to an impressive first season. In 2022, Incheon was transformed into a strong team by advancing to the Final A group for the first time in nine years and achieving the first ACL advance since its foundation.

Busan is determined to overcome the difficult situation of the team and continue to move forward for the goal of promotion by appointing Cho Sung-hwan, a veteran leader with various experiences.

Manager Cho Sung-hwan said, `It is an honor to be appointed as a manager to a prestigious club called Busan I-Park, which I have wanted to play for since I was a player"I came to Busan with the mindset of starting a new challenge rather than stability. We will do our best to promote Busan as soon as possible and repay the fans with good results"He expressed his impression of taking office.

Meanwhile, coach Cho Sung-hwan is scheduled to play his first game as a Busan manager in an away game in the 23rd round of the K League 2 against the Jeonnam Dragons on the 20th.
