Gyeongnam FC suspended striker Yoon Joo-tae (34). Yoon Joo-tae is under investigation by the prosecution for allegedly transferring sexually transmitted diseases.

On the 9th, Gyeongnam expressed its deepest apologies for causing great concern for the recent report through its official SNS (social network service). The club recognized the relevant content on the 8th and immediately confirmed it and suspended the game. This happened last year before Yoon Joo-tae joined Gyeongnam. We plan to follow up strictly depending on the progress of the investigation and the results of the investigation,' it said.

Earlier, the Siheung Police Station in Gyeonggi Province sent the active K Leaguer without detention on charges of injury in May, and it was reported that the Ansan Branch of the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office is currently investigating.

The suspect was identified as Yoon Joo-tae of South Gyeongsang Province. Yoon Joo-tae is accused of having sex with a woman and spreading the disease even though he recognized that he was infected with sexually transmitted diseases. The investigation took place in December last year when the victim submitted a complaint to the police containing the claim. The police charged Yoon Joo-tae with injury, believing that he had intentional intentions.

The Korea Professional Football Federation asked Gyeongnam and Yoon Joo-tae to submit a report by the morning of the 11th on the afternoon of the 9th. The federation will consider whether to hold a disciplinary committee based on the report. According to the federation's reward and punishment regulations, those who commit violent acts and anti-social and unethical acts are subject to disciplinary action. In the case of violent acts, 2 to 10 games will be suspended and sanctions of more than 5 million won will be imposed. In the case of causing a stir due to anti-social and unethical behavior, a suspension of qualification for more than one year may be imposed depending on the situation.

Meanwhile, Yoon Joo-tae, a former student of Hakseong High School and Yonsei University, joined FSV Frankfurt in June 2011 when he was a junior in college. Then he made a U-turn to the K League in 2014. He applied for a rookie draft and was nominated by FC Seoul as the first priority. After that, he wore Gyeongnam's uniform again this season after passing through Sangju Sangmu, Gyeongnam, and Ansan Greeners.
