 Pohang Recruiting Ahn Jae-joon as a striker for the U-23 national team 'Enhance the Attack Power'
Pohang Steelers officially announced on the 3rd that they have recruited Ahn Jae-joon, a striker for the U-23 national team.

Pohang added weight to the offense by recruiting Ahn Jae-joon of the 'K League 2 Young Player'. Ahn Jae-joon joined Ulsan HD in 2020 and left on loan to FK Mlada Voleslav in the Czech first division. Later, he made his adult debut on loan to FK Dukla Prague. Ahn Jae-joon, who returned to the K League through Bucheon FC in 2021, played in 64 games by 2023, scoring 15 goals and 6 assists. With his outstanding performance, he won the K League 2 Young Player Award in 2023.

Ahn Jae-joon played as the main striker in the U-23 national team. Contributed to winning the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games and the 2024 WAFF U-23 Championship. Based on his solid physique of 1m85 and 83kg, he has the right to provide, amount of activity, and goal determination. He is an all-weather striker who can pull off not only the center but also the side.

Ahn Jae-joon said, "It's my first time performing K League 1 and ACLE, so I'm excited. There are players who have matched their feet in the national team, so it won't be difficult to adapt. "I will do my best to follow the style pursued by coach Park Tae-ha quickly and participate in scoring somehow. I want to show good performance in front of Steelyard's passionate fans and become a dedicated player, he said.
