Tottenham center back Joe Rodon is completely transferred to Leeds United.

Tottenham announced on the 2nd (Korea time) that Rodon, who played for Leeds in the English Championship (second division) on loan, will completely transfer to Leeds this summer. Tottenham head to Leeds as a counter-benefit for their ambitious Leeds youth-turned-teens midfielder Archie Gray.

Gray, who is considered England's best talent, has a transfer fee of 40 million pounds (about 70.3 billion won) and Rodon's transfer fee of 10 million pounds (about 17.5 billion won). In the end, Tottenham invested about 30 million pounds (about 52.5 billion won). Gray, who signed a six-year contract, plans to wear his No. 14 uniform and work with Son Heung-min, the Tottenham captain.

Rodon made unforgettable memories with Son Heung-min after moving from Swansea City to Tottenham in 2020. Rodon said in an interview in 2021 that Son Heung-min, who has played for Tottenham since 15, helped him adapt to the team.

Rhodon, the Welsh national team, created the Welsh Mafia, a Tottenham small-time character, along with other Welsh players such as Ben Davies and Gareth Bale (retired). It is reported that Son Heung-min, who is friendly, has opened a group chat room called Wales Korea Mafia. Rodon played 24 games for Tottenham, including the cup.

Wales Korea Mafia naturally disbanded as Bale finished his loan and went back to Real Madrid and Rodon left for Stadren in the 2022-2023 season and Leeds in the 2023-2024 season. Last season, only Son Heung-min and Davis remained in the team.

Rodon established himself as the main defender for Leeds last season and played 43 games. Leeds qualified for the promotion play-offs by finishing third in the league, but failed to advance after losing to Southampton in the play-off final. Re-challenge promotion with Rodon next season.

Gray, born in 2006, is famous for being the grandson of Leeds legend Frank Gray, the nephew of Eddie Gray. It's literally 'Liz Family'. He grew up in the Leeds youth team and emerged as a key midfielder last season. At 1 m 87, he can play as a midfielder and right back. He was likely to go to Brentford, but he decided to go to Tottenham as negotiations fell at the end.
