Como mentioned a racist incident during a preseason friendly between Wolverhampton and Como in Marveya, Spain, on the 16th (Korea time).
Hwang Hee-chan heard racist remarks from the opponent's defender during the second half of the game, and Daniel Podence, a fellow Wolverhampton player who resented them, was sent off with a fist swing.

In response, the Como club first said "Our club does not tolerate racism and absolutely opposes all forms of racism.

On the evening of the 15th, Wolverhampton issued an official statement saying, `No form of racism or discrimination is acceptable and should be ignored. Our club will file an official complaint with the UEFA regarding the incident."
Meanwhile, Hwang Hee-chan has been embroiled in rumors of a transfer to France's prestigious Olympique de Marseille. French media 'Foot Mercato' reported that Hwang Hee-chan personally agreed to transfer to Marseille.
