Oh Hyun-kyu, who was born in 2001, went through the Suwon Youth Matan Middle School and Matango High School. He made his professional debut in Suwon in 2019. After solving the military problem, he played an active role in Suwon in 2022. Thanks to this performance, he moved to Celtic in January last year. It was the choice of current coach Engie Postecoglou, who is leading Tottenham.

Having spent the second half of the 2022-2023 season at Celtic, he showed promise by scoring six goals in 16 games. However, his position diminished as manager Brandon Rogers led the team in the 2023-2024 season. In the end, it was pushed out of power.
