He is still 7.5 games ahead of the San Diego Padres (49 wins and 45 losses), who are in second place in the National League West. Milwaukee lost three straight games and maintained its top position in the National League Central with 53 wins and 38 losses. The win over the second-place St. Louis Cardinals is five games.
