Men's shooting maximum (20, Kyungnam University) failed to win a medal in the individual event. As much as possible, he ranked seventh in the final of the men's 10m air rifle men's individual finals at the '2024 Paris Olympics' held at the Chatoru Shooting Center in France on the 29th (Korea time). He broke through the preliminary round to fifth place as much as possible, but he swallowed his disappointment with two shots from nine points in Stage 1. Earlier, he was eliminated from the preliminary round in the mixed air rifle that he participated in paired with Ban Hyo-jin (17, Daegu High School). Ban Hyo-jin won a gold medal in the individual event.

The finals shoot a total of 24 shots. Five shots in series 1 and five shots in series 2 to end stage 1. When entering Stage 2, the bottom is eliminated one by one for every two shots.

He got off to a shaky start in seventh place in the first series as much as possible. He steadily built a high score of more than 10 points in series 2, but slipped his last foot to 9.8 points. The 6th-ranked Italian Danielo Solacho faced Stage 2, 0.8 points behind him. The 11th and 12th shots secured seventh place, chasing Solazo by 0.3 points. However, it was a half-point gap in the 13th shot. He shot a close 10.8 in his 14th shot, but fell 0.2 points short of Solarcho and was eliminated in seventh place.



As much as possible, I grabbed a gun when I was in the first year of middle school. In 2016, he actually hoped to enter the Gwangju Weightlifting Department. At that time, the director of the shooting department seems to have recognized the maximum potential. As much as possible "I started with the recommendation of the shooting director who was in the school office" I looked back on how I entered the path of a marksman. As much as possible, he won the individual competition for the first time at the 2019 National Shooting Competition for the Presidential Security Agency. In 2023, he set a new Korean record in the same competition. It's not broken yet. On the international stage, he showed clear growth, including fifth place in the 2023 Hungarian Open International Shooting Championship, second place in the 2024 Asian Shooting Championship, and first place in the team event.
