The Badminton Korea Association will hold a team cheering event for the Paris Olympics with its sponsor 'Yonex'.

The association announced on the 30th that it will hold a group cheering exhibition for the 2024 badminton national team with the wishes of badminton fans at Sky Art Hall in Seoul (Deungchon-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul) for three days from August 2nd to 4th.

The event was designed to provide the fun of badminton fans coming together to enjoy and cheer on badminton, and to contribute to the new cheering culture and revitalization of badminton. The association and Yonex will set up a separate large screen in the Sky Art Hall to watch and cheer together on the Olympic badminton game.

The women's doubles semifinals, men's doubles semifinals, and mixed doubles medals will be held in badminton at the Paris Olympics on August 2, and the women's singles quarterfinals and women's doubles medals will be held on the 3rd. On August 4, the women's singles semifinals, men's singles semifinals, and men's doubles medal finals are scheduled.

The group cheering match will be held only for Korean players, and during the absence of Korean players, various events such as Lucky Draw, Game Time with Yonex Badminton Team players, and Face Painting will boost the cheering heat. There will also be a photo zone to leave memories of the group cheering event.

The association said, `With fans' expectations for the performance of the national badminton team, which is called the greatest golden generation of all time, including Ahn Se-young, the world's king of women's singles, fans who could not cheer in Paris will feel the new fun of badminton through the cheering match and at the same time give the players a hot cheering match in Paris.'

The association added that `Tickets (20,000 won) for the cheering exhibition can be purchased at Interpark Tickets, and participants will be provided with Yonex cheering T-shirts, cheering fans, and luminous bracelets, and more information can be found through the Badminton Korea Association and Yonex Instagram.'
