It's not racism. This time it is anti-Semitism.

The BBC reported on the 31st (Korea Standard Time) 'The French prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into a possible antisemitic crime that occurred during the Olympic soccer match between Israel and Paraguay on Saturday.'The Olympic Organizing Committee filed a complaint with the police after a banner with a political message was posted in Group D of the Olympic men's soccer preliminary round between Israel and Paraguay, a spokesman said.

One fan in the stadium made an anti-Semitic gesture.

The BBC reported that there were reports of banners and slogans referring to the ongoing war in Gaza during the game. Neither the Paris prosecutor's office nor the Olympic officials gave details of the case.

The game was brutal on the day. During the game, some supporters held banners that read 'Olympics of Racial Genocide'.

France's Le Parisien also reported the incident, saying there were fans from the same group ' (with the banner). It later mimicked a provocative gesture of an anti-Semitic nature.

The Associated Press reported 'As the Israeli national anthem rang out, some spectators booed. Some of them shouted for the hostages to be released, according to the report.

Paraguay won the match 4-2.

The BBC reported 'Olympic Organizing Committee filed a complaint with police after the game. A spokesman for the Paris 2024 organizing committee said it strongly condemned the action, and announced that it was doing its best to fight discrimination and wanted to remind everyone that the Olympics were a time of harmony and tolerance," he reported.

French prosecutors are also investigating the death threats received by three Israeli athletes during the Olympics.
