'The eldest brother' Kim Woo-jin (32, Cheongju City Hall) continued his strong run toward his first gold medal in individual competitions. Kim Woo-jin defeated Taiwan's Linzang 6-0 (30-27 29-28 30-26) in the men's individual archery round of 32 at the 2024 Paris Olympics at Lejean Balide in Paris, France on the 30th (Korea time). Kim Woo-jin reached the round of 16.
Kim Woo-jin shot 10 points in eight of the nine shots he shot on the day. The opponent was not bad, but he was so good.
Kim Woo-jin also defeated Israel Madaye (Chad) 6-0 (29-26 29-15 30-25) in the previous round of 64. As expected, it was a perfect game, with seven shots scoring 10 points.
Kim Woo-jin collaborated with Lee Woo-seok (Kolon) and Kim Je-deok (Yecheon County Office) in the men's team event the previous day. He led his team to three consecutive wins.
