K League 2 Gimpo FC and K League 1 Jeju United will play in the quarterfinals of the '2024 Hana Bank Korea Cup' at Gimpo Salter Football Stadium on the 17th. Kimpo made an unexpected turnaround in the round of 16. One K-League player defeated Jeonbuk Hyundai 1-0. Gimpo, which caught FC Seoul last year, took over Jeonbuk this year and succeeded in advancing to the quarterfinals for the first time since its foundation. Jeju defeated Daejeon Hana Citizen in the round of 16 after a penalty shootout. Jeju, which finished 120 minutes with a score of 0-0, won 8-7 in the penalty shootout.
Gimpo has taken out all of its main players. Bruno and Lee Hyun-kyu will stand on the two-top, and Lee Kang-yeon, Ahn Jae-min, Jung Kang-min, Seo Bo-min and Lee Hwan-hee will be in the waistline. The three-back is made up of Kim Dong-min, Jeong Han-cheol, and Kim Min-ho. Lee Sang-wook protects the goal. Chapman, Plana and Lewis, the three key outsiders all start on the bench.
Jeju chose a partial rotation. Jin Sung-wook Seo Jin-soo will stand in the front, and Koo Ja-cheol and Kim Jung-min Lee Hae-ro will be in the midfield. Lee Ju-yong and Kim Tae-hwan are on the left and right. The three-back is composed by Hong Joon-ho, Yeon Je-woon, and Jeon Sung-jin. Gallego and Kaina, recruited from the summer transfer market, and Yuri Jonathan, who returned from injury, sit on the bench.
