[Paris (France) = Egan Sports Chosun.COM reporter] The best hit K-pop product embroidered Paris.

The Korea Sports Council and Hive held a group cheering match using Team Korea cheering sticks at the Korea House in Paris on the 27th (local time). The Korea House is serving as a K-culture promoter during the Olympics.

About 800 Koreans, locals, and tourists from all over the world participated in the evening of the 27th. I watched Kim Woo-min's men's 400-meter swimming freestyle bronze medal and Oh Sang-wook's men's fencing sabre gold medal through the large screen.

Hive presented the `Team Korea light stick' to the audience. The cheering stick was directed to five songs familiar to the Korean people, including Boo Seok-soon's 「Fighting」, YB's"Oh Pilseung Korea" and Loveholic's"Butterfly". In addition, he played the role of the cheering squad leader on the spot by showing the direction of adjusting the lighting speed and color of the cheering stick according to the cheering chants shouted by the visitors.

The light stick is gaining popularity as a must-have item for K-pop fans. It is also very popular in this Olympics.

At the opening ceremony held earlier, the 「Digital Flag」, which added novelty to the Korean national flag with Hive's unique technology, shone. The South Korean team entered the opening ceremony held at 7:30 p.m. on July 26 (2:30 a.m. local time in Paris, 2:30 a.m. on the 27th in Korea). The digital flag is another name for the athlete 'Team Korea light stick', which was unveiled at the Paris Olympic team's determination ceremony held on the 9th, and it is a form in which the Taegeukgi is attached to the general light stick. The spectators along the Seine cheered as more than 50 South Korean national teams flew digital flags for the 48th time. The digital flag, held in the hands of the South Korean team, marched about 6 kilometers past attractions in downtown Paris, including Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris City Hall, the Louvre, and the Musée d'Orsay.

The digital flag changes the color of the light emitting part to a total of five colors: blue, red, yellow, green, and gold whenever the button on the handle is pressed, which is inspired by the Olympic flag. Upon receiving a signal transmitted to the central control, all digital flags are designed to shine in various colors at the same time to heighten the cheering atmosphere. However, due to the on-site security regulations of the opening ceremony, the battery could not be built into the digital flag, so it was used without lighting this time.

Following the opening ceremony, the digital flag will be used for the Korean team's position at the closing ceremony on August 11.
