All the players who will play in the Dodram 2024-2025 V-League have registered. At the same time, the rank of remuneration received by the players was also disclosed.
KOVO released the results of player registration for the 2024-2025 season, which will return on the 1st. The men's team in the new season will receive a total of 5.81 billion won in remuneration, which is 4.15 billion won in salary caps and 1.66 billion won in option caps, while the women's team will receive a total of 2.9 billion won in remuneration, including 2 billion won in salary caps, 600 million won in option caps and 300 million won in victory allowances.
In the men's division, a Korean Air player signed a contract for a total of 1.08 billion won with an annual salary of 750 million won and an option of 330 million won, maintaining his position as the highest paid player in the men's division for four consecutive seasons following last season, followed by Korean Air's Jung Ji-seok with a total of 920 million won (annual salary of 700 million won and option of 220 million won), and OK Financial Group's Lee Min-kyu signed a contract with 908 million won (annual salary of 800 million won and option of 108 million won), while Hyundai Capital's Heo Soo-bong and KEPCO's Shin Young-seok signed 800 million.
In the women's division, Heungkuk Life Kim Yeon-kyung and Korea Expressway Corporation Kang So-hwi tied for first with an annual salary of 500 million won, an option of 300 million won, and a total of 800 million won, while Kim Yeon-kyung was listed as the highest paid player in the women's division for three consecutive seasons. Pepper Savings Bank's Park Jung-ah came in third with an annual salary of 475 million won, an option of 300 million won, and a total of 775 million won, while Lee So-young, who will play an active role at IBK Industrial Bank this coming season, came in fourth with 700 million won (450 million won per year, 250 million won in options), and Hyundai Engineering & Construction's Yang Hyo-jin came in fifth with 600 million won (400 million won per year, 200 million won in options).
