An official from the Korea Football Association admitted the misjudgment through Sports Chosun on the 10th for violating the VAR procedure of the chief referee. Coincidentally, this scene is not the first time it has been misjudged. In the ninth round of the match between Gangwon FC and FC Seoul at Chuncheon Stadium on April 26 last year, he made the same mistake. At that time, the referee blew the whistle just before Seoul's Palosevic shot. Seoul defender Kim Jin-ya drew Seo Min-woo (holding) and declared Seoul's foul. Seoul players ran to referee Chae and asked why he didn't check VAR. However, on this day, the referee was unable to check VAR due to regulations. The controversy over the misjudgment intensified. The football association held a meeting the next day and admitted the misjudgment.
