In the preliminary round of the competition held at Chatoru Shooting Range in France on the 28th (Korea time), Ban Hyo-jin ranked first overall with 634.5 points to secure a place in the final round given to the top eight.
The preliminary round, in which 44 players participated, was held in such a way that the top eight players were qualified to play in the final round with a combined record of 60 shots (10.9 points per shot).

It was only three years ago that Ban Hyo-jin grabbed the gun. In July 2021, when I was attending Dongwon Middle School in Daegu, I started working out at the recommendation of a friend who was a shooter. Ban Hyo-jin, who debuted in second place in the boy's team event that year, later stood out at domestic and international competitions and succeeded in setting the national flag. At the first Olympics in his life, he proudly advanced to the finals as No. 1 in the preliminary round in the midst of strong players.
