Lucas Beribal will train as a Tottenham player as of July 1st (Korea time).

The British Football London reported on the 1st that `Veribal officially became a Tottenham player from today after transferring from Jurgodens to Tottenham for 8.5 million pounds(about 14.9 billion won).'

Beribal is Sweden's top prospect recruited by Tottenham in the transfer market last winter. Born in 2006, Beribal is only 18 years old, but he is already called the future of Sweden. He has already been selected for the national team and made his debut.

Beribal received attention from Barcelona half a year ago. Despite the interest of Barcelona, the best club in the world, Beribal chose Tottenham. Tottenham's sincerity to Beribal worked.

Beribal was invited by Tottenham last winter and visited London with his family and headed to the Tottenham club.

The Swedish league has a different season operating period from the EPL due to its regional characteristics. Jurgodens has given the player free time since June to let Beribal play until June and then take a break before moving to the EPL.

Veribal is expected to be used in the first team next season. Veribal can play as a central midfielder and striker.
