South Korea entered the opening ceremony for the 48th time...The flagbearers are Woo Sang-hyuk and Kim Seo-young
The South Korean team will enter the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics for the 48th time.

The Korean Olympic Committee said on the 26th (Korean time) "Korea will enter the opening ceremony for the 48th time in accordance with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) standards." It is expected to be around 2:30 a.m. on the 27th. For the first time ever, the Olympics will be held in the Seine River, not in the stadium. The team enters by riding a boat along the Seine River and marching on the water. The team's water and ship march will be held in a 6km section from the Osterlitz Bridge near the Botanic Gardens to Trocadero Square near the Eiffel Tower. It passes through the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Paris City Hall building, the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, the Concorde Square, and the Grand Palais to reach the Eiffel Tower.

Only about 50 players are expected to participate in the opening ceremony. Woo Sang-hyuk (athletics) and Kim Seo-young (swimming) were selected as the joint riders of our team at the opening ceremony.

Greece, the birthplace of the ancient Olympics, is the first to enter according to tradition, followed by a refugee team representing 100 million refugees around the world. After that, the entry players will be decided according to the alphabetical order of the host country's French. Accordingly, Afghanistan is the third country to enter. The Korean national name is 'Coree', not 'Korea' in French, so according to this standard, it is entered after Cook Island, the 47th country. The next country we take is Costa Rica.

The host country, France, is the last to enter 206. North Korea, whose official national name is 'Republique populaire democratique de coree' in French, is the 153rd to enter.
