Sports Corporation 'Safety Safety Sports Facility Designation Project' Wins Excellence Award in Outstanding Administrative Selection Contest

The 'Excellent Administration and Policy Case Contest' is organized by the Korea Public Policy Evaluation Association and is held every year to develop administrative and policy through discovery and diffusion of excellent policy cases for the central government, metropolitan and basic local governments, and public institutions.
The 'Safety Safety Sports Facility Designation Project' is a project that gives safety grades to facilities with excellent safety management among small private sports facilities mainly used by children.
In particular, the Korea Sports Corporation worked hard to establish a safety management system by developing safety management items specializing in sports facilities and supporting consulting (3 months) for internalization through analysis of related laws and on-site diagnosis by experts for small sports facilities that do not have mandatory insurance and can cause safety blind spots due to self-implementation of safety inspections.
As a result, a total of 183 locations were certified until last year, and the economic effect of reducing the incidence of safety accidents by 17.26% before and after participating in the project and increasing users (6.9%) and sales (7.3%).
An official from the Korea Sports Corporation said, "I am glad that my efforts to manage the safety of sports facilities in Korea have been recognized."We will do our best to create an environment where more children can enjoy sports with confidence in the future."
