Super Race has proved to be a representative motorsport festival of midsummer nights, setting a record for the largest number of spectators ever.

The fifth round of the "2024 One Super Race Championship" held at Everland Speedway in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do on the 13th attracted 31,558 visitors. It is the first time that the number of people exceeded 30,000 based on a single final in the history of the Super Race. The previous record was 29,881.

The race was the second race of the Super Race 'Summer Season', which began in June and was held three times in a row from July to August, with the preliminary round being a night race during the day and the final round at night. Seven races, including the top super 6000 class, GT/GT4 class, Prius PHEV class, Alpin class, Rubex M, and Radical Cup Korea, were concentrated on the day, and it was possible to bring together weekend motorsports audiences because it was clear all day long.

Famous musicians such as Davichi, Kid Millie, Hyun-ah and Bio performed before and after the race, and there were also a variety of fun things to enjoy, including bike runs that are not usually seen in super races. During the gridwalk time, which is given to visitors who purchased gold tickets, it was also impressive to see fans who waited in huge queues traveling around the circuit, taking pictures and talking with drivers, and enjoying the festival.

Although the sun did not set, in the GT/GT4 class final, which began with a cool breeze, four cars that were hit after a fierce competition immediately after departure and during the game were re-tired, while defending champion Jung Kyung-hoon (BitR&D) won his second victory of the season, more than a lap ahead of second-place Na Yeon-woo (Brandew Racing).

In the Super 6000 class final, which was followed by a full-fledged night race, Kim Joong-gun (Seo Han GP), who ranked first in the preliminary round, never lost the lead after the start and won the title for the first time in five years since the opening game in 2019. Seo-han GP then maintained its position as the strongest team, with three drivers alternating to win the five rounds held this season, with Chung Eui-chul of the same team ranking second and Jang Hyun-jin of the same team ranking fifth in a row until the last round. One Racing set the stage for the chase with Oh Han-sol ranking third and Kim Dong-eun ranking fourth.

The sixth round, the last night race of this year, will be held at Inje Speedium in Inje-gun, Gangwon-do on August 24.
