Suwon Samsung won a thrilling come-from-behind victory. Suwon Samsung, led by head coach Byun Sung-hwan, won 2-1 against Cheonan City FC in an away game of 'Hana Bank K League 2 2024' at Cheonan Stadium on the 13th. Suwon had six undefeated matches (two wins and four draws) under Byun.

Suwon left a disappointment against Cheonan this season. In their first match of the season against Cheonan at home on May 11, they lost 0-1. The situation was not good again on this day. Suwon couldn't breathe under strong pressure from its opponents early in the game. In the end, Paulino allowed the first goal in the extra time of the first half. In a hurry, Suwon took out three replacement cards at the start of the second half. Excluding Son Seok-yong, Mulich, and Peter, Park Seung-soo, Lee Kyu-dong, and Tungara were added. Since then, Kim Ji-ho and Kim Sang-joon have stepped on the ground in succession instead of Kim Joo-chan and Kim Bo-kyung. The card hit the mark. Suwon tied the score 1-1 in the 32nd minute of the first half with Lee Kyu-dong's score. Park Seung-soo dug into the opponent's side and passed it to Lee Kyu-dong, and Lee Kyu-dong, who received it, completed the score. Suwon, which was in the mood, turned the tables with Kim Sang-joon completing Lee Kyu-dong's pass with a wonder goal in the second half extra time. Suwon fans, who filled one side of the stadium, cheered. Director Byun also expressed his joy with 'Apple Cut Ceremony'.

Suwon left homework even with a thrilling victory. Suwon attempted 20 shots (9 in the first half and 11 in the second half). It was more than double that of Cheonan (nine times). He also took 56% of the attack share and drove his opponent. But he managed to secure the victory.

There is another bitter reality. Suwon should rely on the performance of the `youngest ace' again this season. Park Seung-soo, who laid the groundwork for the reversal, was born in 2007 and in his second year of high school, and is a semi-professional player. Park Seung-soo has been on the ground as the team's 'Joker' since his K-League debut against Seongnam FC on the 22nd of last month. On this day, he showed a hard time, breathing hard, but he showed off his talent at the most important moment.

Suwon has had to bet its fate on 'youngest ace' performance in recent years. Jung Sang-bin (28 goals in 28 games) born in 2002, Oh Hyun-kyu (13 goals in 36 games) born in 2001, and Kim Joo-chan (5 goals in 25 games) born in 2004 played as aces in 2021.

Suwon won again on this day with the performance of young players including Park Seung-soo. Lee Kyu-dong (20), who exploded with one goal and one assist on the day, is a player who was hired on loan from Jeonbuk Hyundai through the summer transfer market. This day was the debut. Kim Sang-joon, born in 2001, who scored the winning goal, played on loan at Busan I'Park until last year. He returned to Suwon ahead of this season.
