Nexon announced on the 5th that it will recruit participants for the e-sports competition 'The Finals Korea Open Season 3' of the team-based FPS game 'THE FINALS' developed by its subsidiary MBAK Studio.
The Final's Korea Open Season 3' is an amateur competition open to anyone who enjoys the 'The Final' and will be held in the order of the 'Season 3 Championship', where the top three teams of each competition will play the final round in September.
First of all, the preliminary round will be held on the 21st by recruiting participants for the 「July Strongest Self-Defense」 until the 17th. The four teams that passed the preliminary round will then play the semifinals and finals on the 28th, and the match will be broadcast live online on the official YouTube channel of 'The Finals' and the WDG YouTube channel. The 'August Strongest Self' will be held in the same way, and the 'Season 3 Championship Final' to be held on September 22 will be held at the WDG Esports Stadium in Chungmuro, Seoul.
5 million won will be provided to the first place in each strongest race and 1 million won to the second place, and the top six teams in each strongest race will compete for a total prize of 15 million won in September Season 3 Championship. In addition, up to 30,000 won in Nexon Cash will be presented to all users who participated in the strongest race, and 'The Final Skiing' will be provided through a lottery.
Nexon will also hold an event competition worth 30 million won in total prize money by inviting shooting game influencers such as former professional gamers to commemorate the hosting of the 'The Finals' e-sports competition from the 13th. A total of 20 influencers will play the final match on the 19th after qualifying and finals, and all matches will be available through the official African TV station.
