The Korea e-Sports Association launches an educational brand 'The Kespa' to foster talent in the e-sports industry

The Korea e-Sports Association announced on the 15th that it has officially launched an educational brand 'THE KESPA' (hereinafter 'The Kespa') to foster e-sports industry talent.

The association decided that it is time for integrated education in the public sector to cultivate professionals who will be active in the e-sports industry, and announced that it planned "The Kespa" to help students demonstrate their expertise in various fields based on their high industrial understanding.

The association emphasized that it intends to connect the present and future of the e-sports industry through professional education based on five core values: Inclusive, Practical, Mutual Benefit, Unique, and Sustainable.

The curriculum is divided into four areas: practical type, qualification, expansion type, and social contribution. This year, seven detailed education programs will be held, including participatory practice (concert and event planning and operation), administrative specialization (understanding the e-sports industry and national marketing), referee qualification (private qualification for e-sports judges), leader qualification (private qualification for e-sports professional leaders), compulsory trainer training (compulsory trainer training for e-sports professional), incumbent capacity building (current employee capacity building workshop), and teacher training (compromising education capacity using e-sports for teachers).

Among them, for the first time, the process of acquiring e-sports leadership qualifications will begin, and students will be recruited by the 29th. The association's leadership qualification process is a system that certifies and standardizes the expertise and capabilities of leaders at all levels, from daily e-sports to professional-amateur and national teams, and last year, it produced a total of 41 qualified leaders at all levels, starting with A-level national teams at the Hangzhou Asian Games.

This leadership qualification process will open B and C qualifications. Anyone over the age of 19 can apply for the C-level course unless there is a reason for disqualification from overseas travel. Grade B qualification is a process to qualify for national leadership support, and athletes and leaders with a history of participation in competitions hosted and organized by associations and sports companies are eligible. For B-level courses, you can receive educational qualifications after confirming your experience. Applications for participation can be submitted through the application link on the website of 'The Kespa' by 3 p.m. on the 29th.

Inquiries about the leadership qualification acquisition process can be made through Nongshim Esports Academy, a partner in the leadership qualification acquisition process. The association is pleased to announce the beginning of 'The Kespar' to cultivate talent to play in the e-sports industry. 'The Kespa' will help more talented people develop their expertise and contribute to the development of the e-sports industry, while simultaneously considering the sustainable growth of the industry by reinvesting it in the industry" he said.
