A relationship was created through the medium of 'Daejeon'.

The Korea Sepak Takraw Association and Hankook Tire & Technology (hereinafter referred to as Hankook Tire) signed a sponsorship agreement at the 2024 Sepak Takraw Competition held in Daejeon Metropolitan City on the 20th.

Hankook Tire has a connection in the area of 'Daejeon'. Since 2019, the Korea Sepak Takraw Association has held a national competition called the '2024 Seppak Takraw Competition against the city and province' in Daejeon Metropolitan City.



Last year, Daejeon Metropolitan City accepted a plan to revitalize the local economy through sports and signed an agreement with the association to host a national competition.

This year, the Sepak Takraw Business Team was established in Daedeok-gu, Daejeon. The team is making a positive contribution to regional promotion and economic development by having excellent performances such as winning domestic and international competitions.



The association asked Hankook Tire to sign a sponsorship agreement with global leading tire companies. Hankook Tire decided to sign a sponsorship agreement by appreciating each other's possibilities through the relationship of 'Daejeon'.

Meanwhile, the 2024 Seppak Takraw Competition will be held at Daedeok Culture Gymnasium in Daejeon until July 28.
