The South Korean sports climbing team, led by head coach Seo Jong-guk, is sweating toward the 2024 Paris Olympics. In this competition, men's and women's combine events Lee Do-hyun (21) and Seo Chae-hyun (20) and men's speed events Shin Eun-cheol (25) will participate.
Expectations are high. Sports climbing made its Olympic debut at the previous Tokyo Games. At that time, it was a combine event in which one player played all three detailed events of bouldering, lead, and speed. It's different this time. It will be held in two events: speed and combine (bouldering + lead). Korea's goal for this year's event is one silver and two bronze medals. We expect a silver medal for the combine men's team Lee Do-hyun and a bronze medal for the combine women's team Seo Chae-hyun and men's speed Shin Eun-chul, respectively.
