Kiwoom formed the starting lineup of Lee Joo-hyung (right wing), Ronnie Dawson (designated hitter), Kim Hye-sung (second baseman), Song Sung-moon (third baseman), Choi Joo-hwan (first baseman), Lee Yong-kyu (left wing), Kim Jae-hyun (possession), Kim Tae-jin (fielders), and Jang Jae-young (middle fielder) in the home game against the LG Twins at Gocheok Sky Dome on the 3rd. As in the previous day, seven left-handed hitters were selected as starters. The only difference was that Lee Yong-kyu was included in the sixth batter instead of Bae Sang-kwon.
Kiwoom put seven left-handed hitters in the lineup except Kim Jae-hyun and Jang Jae-young to face right-handed pitcher Casey Kelly on the previous day, but today it used seven left-handed hitters even though the opponent's starter was left-handed Detrick N.S.
Ens was not significantly affected by left and right hitters, with a hit rate of 272 (64 hits in 235 at-bats) to right-handed hitters and a hit rate of 268 (34 hits in 127 at-bats) to left-handed hitters.
Ence took the mound twice against Kiwoom with a 1-1 record and a 5.59 ERA. In the Gocheok game (3-0 win) on March 29, he became a winning pitcher with three hits and no runs in six innings, but in the Jamsil game (5-6 loss) on May 16, he became a losing pitcher with nine hits and six runs in three ⅔ innings.
On June 26, the previous mound, he showed good performance by recording three hits and no runs in six innings against Jamsil Samsung.
Kiwoom's starter is Enmanuel de Heissus. It's LG killer. He has won both times and has zero ERA. In Gocheok game (8-4 win) on March 31, he won his first victory in his debut by allowing four hits, no four outs, and seven strikeouts in seven innings, and in Jamsil game (11-3 win) on June 4, he also silenced LG's batters with three hits, one walk, and one run (non-accidental) in six innings.
It's my third time meeting the LG lineup, and I wonder if I can silence it again this time.
