LG Twins' Park Dong-won fired an incredibly fast two-run shot like a missile.
Park Dong-won started as the sixth catcher in the home game against the Doosan Bears at Jamsil Stadium on the 21st and hit a two-run home run from Doosan starter Choi Won-joon with one out and second base in the bottom of the second inning.
First, after one out, No. 5 Kim Hyun-soo hit a left double. His 100th hit of the season. For the fourth time in history, he became the main character of 100 hits for 15 consecutive seasons. And with this hit, LG recorded 49,000 hits for the third time ever.
Park Dong-won, who entered the scoring chance of second base with no outs, kicked a low 140.8km fastball in the middle of the fourth pitch in the ball count 2B1S and crossed the left fence.
The ball went over in the blink of an eye. It was a home run that went over with a line drive like a clothesline.
The launch angle was only 20.4 degrees. But what's surprising is the speed of the ball. It is 182.8km long.
With this home run, Park Dong-won recorded his 14th home run this season.
