Playing in the KBO All-Star Game for the first time in 12 years.

Ryu Hyun-jin (37) of the Hanwha Eagles seemed to feel a sense of change. Ahead of the 2024 KBO All-Star Game at Landers Field in Incheon on the 6th, Ryu Hyun-jin laughed, `I used to have a lot of seniors, but now I feel that time has changed a lot because I don't see many seniors above me.' Then "I'm here to have fun today. I hope he throws it two days ago and stops it without losing a point even if it's hard to throw all the pitches"How do you feel about participating?"

Ryu Hyun-jin started the KBO All-Star Game in 2012, just before he entered the U.S. Major League Baseball. Ryu, who took the mound as the starting pitcher of the Western League at the time, received the outstanding pitcher award by pitching perfect pitching in two innings.

This season, after returning from his U.S. career, Ryu was 5-5 with a 3.62 ERA in 16 games. He had an ERA of only 5.21 until April after the opening, but over time, he found stability.

Ryu Hyun-jin said, `There were a lot of disappointing games"I looked back on the first half of the year, saying, "I think I lost a lot of points as I tried to fight with my strength because I wanted to come back after 12 years and show too much." Then "The moment I let go of my mind, I think I became comfortable and my performance was revived. At the end, I think I've found myself.'

Hanwha and Ryu Hyun-jin, who are aiming to take a leap in the second half of the year, are at the center of it. Coach Kim Kyung-moon, who worked with the Korean national team for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, also expressed his intention to lead the team more intensively to make a leap forward in the second half of the year. Ryu Hyun-jin said, "(I think) there will be a lot of orders (for players). I think we need to match it and follow it."
