Kiwoom made a reversal in the bottom of the eighth inning against LG at Gocheok Sky Dome on the 2nd, winning 4-2 and winning five consecutive games.
LG showed 3 wins and 6 losses in Kiwoom alone this season, failing to break the jinx of the game that would not be solved if it met Kiwoom. The plan to chase the No. 1 KIA Tigers by shaking off the slump against Kiwoom in the last three consecutive games of the first half was broken from the first day.
Kiwoom and LG will face each other as the best starters in the three consecutive games. Furado and Kelly will meet on the day, and Enmanuel de Heysus and Detrick Ness will face off on the 3rd. On the 4th, the last day of the first half, Ha Young-min and Lim Chan-kyu will compete.

Kiwoom had Song Sung-moon's three-base hit to the middle of the third inning after one out, but the follow-up hit did not hit, keeping it 1-1.
Breaking the parallel line was an unlikely shot. After one loss in the top of the fifth inning, Park Hae-min hit Hurado's 146km fastball toward the body to make a solo shot slightly over the right fence. Park Hae-min's second shot of the season. 2-1 LG's lead.

Furado continued his good pitching until the seventh inning. In seven innings, he recorded a quality start plus with seven hits (one home run), no four outs, five strikeouts, and two runs.
The game was decided in the eighth inning.
In the top of the eighth inning, Park Hae-min got on base due to a second baseman error and managed to steal second base, and Hong Chang-ki's ground ball in front of the second base went to third base. And Shin Min-jae ran home during his squeeze bunt. However, the ball went in front of the pitcher, and when pitcher Joo Seung-woo tried to catch the ball, Park Hae-min jumped in and stopped. LG hurriedly replaced the pitcher with Baek Seung-hyun, but pinch hitter Lee Yong-kyu hit a left-handed hit, leading to a chance for the first and third bases with no outs, and Kim Jae-hyun's sacrifice fly to center field led to 4-2.
LG also created the last chance against Kiwoom closer Cho Sang-woo in the top of the ninth inning. After one out, Park Dong-won's walk and Moon Bo-kyung's right-handed hit made the first and second bases. At bat, pinch hitter Ham Chang-gun hit the second ball in 1S, rolling head-on to second baseman and hitting a double play.
