Rotach-Erne, a 77-year-old German amateur club (division 7), has been selected as Bayern Munich's first sparring partner in the preseason because it is a club located in a city near Munich.
According to sports media ESPN, Munich has been playing a friendly match with Rotach-Erne since 2018.
As expected, the confrontation between a superstar and a club of ordinary office workers who receive hundreds of millions of won a week has always been one-sided. Munich won 20-2 in 2018, 23-0 in 2019 and 27-0 in 2023. No friendly matches were held during the COVID-19 pandemic.
They also had a showdown on the 25th. Munich won a whopping 14–1 victory at Bayern Munich's training camp in Tegernje, Bavaria. Kim Min-jae was put in the second half and played a scoreless 45 minutes wearing the captain's armband.
The scores of the last four friendlies are 84-3. This year's friendly matches have a good score. Harry Kane, who is on vacation due to his participation in Euro 2024, might have had a bigger margin if he had played.

Munich coach Bang Sang-Kongfani, who was newly appointed this season, experimented with a number of new tactics and new faces. Kim Min-jae worked with Japanese national center back Hiroki Ito in the second half. Backup goalkeeper Sven Ulreich explained the difference that Kongpani demanded a slightly more aggressive move compared to his predecessor Thomas Tuchel. Munich will play a friendly match with Duren (Germany's fourth division) in the Jülich region of Germany on the 28th and then move to Korea to prepare for a friendly match with Tottenham on the 3rd of next month.
